...Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to share in the inheritance with the saints in light.    -Colossians 1:12

I do thank God for my new family here at Hollywood as church secretary! Some know of me already, and some do not know me at all. So, Pastor Keith asked that I share a little about myself,
I was born in Smyrna, GA to Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Aaron. I am mother to Joy Lindsay, grand-mother to two beautiful boys, Jason and Jua Lindsay. (You’ve probably met them, but likely did
not know I was related to them.)
I moved to NC to be closer to them, and I could (joyfully) focus all my energies on them. But at this point and time in my life, my primary focus is on living for the Glory of God. I received a godly heritage and training – a deposit from the Lord through her –  from Hattie B. King, my grandmother, she was a godly woman, and the founder of King Chapel Church.
So much of what you see and sense about me is due to her influence and care. She was a special gift from God to me, and I dedicate my life to living to God’s glory and for my grandmother’s honor.
God has directed me here, and I am happy to be a part of the Hollywood family; I already feel a part of you! Let’s get to know one another! Come see me, and – if I can be of service to you, just let me know. Just remember, I’m still learning – and there’s a lot to learn!”

Justin Collis

Music Ministry Director
Justin was born and raised all around Central Virginia. Being the son of a Baptist minister he spent some time moving around during his middle and high school years. With all of the change one thing that was always constant was his mother’s desire to keep her children engaged in church, especially through youth group. It was at a youth fellowship camp in North
Carolina where Justin first heard the call to work in ministry. Justin spent his time moving around learning new instruments. It was a love of music that led him to get a bachelor’s degree in saxophone performance from Mansfield University in 2013 where he met his wife Rochelle. One summer during an internship with
the adult choir at his parent’s church he felt the tug from God again telling him he would spend his life in the ministry but this time the call seemed more pointed at music ministry. After leaving Mansfield. Justin then proceed to a master’s degree in woodwind performance from East Carolina University. During his schooling there his wife Rochelle found Hollywood Church where originally she was just looking for a job to help their young family afford life. This church has blessed them so much more! In conjunction with the birth of their son, Andy, Justin began his work with Hollywood in March of 2015 directing the adult choir. Since then he has taken over working with the youth in multiple facets and directing the praise band and hand bell choir.
Justin also enjoys his time teaching and performing on various woodwind instruments all around the Eastern North Carolina area where he has a broad resume of activities. He also directs the new prospective sweet adeline’s chapter ‘Sassy Southern Sound’ and is studying to become a piano technician.
